Founded in 1991, Proycontec is a construction company created to address the urbanisation requirements of the Costa del Sol. Being headquartered in Marbella has helped it to better know the Costa del Sol environment and coordinate its activities around the west coast of Malaga.
The extensive experience of its shareholders in the construction industry (more than twenty five years) has allowed Proycontec to carry out all kinds of projects, with a focus on housing, hotels and civil engineering.
Proycontec has the human and technical resources required to address the needs of its clients, utilising all kinds of construction machinery and a highly qualified team of people. The personnel of the company consists of around 225 people, including technical and office staff. Additionally, we have several subcontractors that employ more than 300 people.
Our commitment to responsibility and consistancy, has allowed us to obtain the ISO 9002 quality cerficate and later its succesor the ISO 9001:2000 quality management system certificate.
Proycontec is specially sensitive to the potential dangers of its activities, and particulary to the health and safety of its employees and subcontractors. Therefore, the company has an external health and safety programme to guarantee the safety of the personnel. This program consists of periodical revisions from experts on-site, including fortnightly reports to the board of directors for its analysis and for the appropriate decisions to be made.
Another distinctive feature of Proycontec is its commitment to the continual training of its employees. The Human Resources Department detects the needs and develops an annual training plan, which is carried out with the cooperation of experienced companies. Particulary important is the health and safety training carried out on-site.
Finally, Proycontec has made a special effort to deliver the
best post-sales service; our philosophy is not to wait to solve the
problems once the client has complained, but to solve the problems as
soon as they are detected, and listen to our clients' opinion to
help us improve.
